About Bracka Engineering

Built on hands-on experience delivering production-ready, first-of-type battery electric hydrofoiling workboats — covering BMS architecture, high-voltage DC electrification, embedded control software, HIL validation, and international commissioning. The work is technical and practical, not just advice and documentation.

Marine Electrification
Developed 103 kWh marinised Li-ion battery packs and 800 VDC power architecture for commercial hydro-foiling vessels — blank sheet to sea trials to in-service support.
BMS & Supervisory Software
Developed supervisory battery management software in MATLAB / Simulink including multi-string battery management & high power charge control. Experienced across the full BMS stack — cell modelling, SOC estimation, protection logic, and external interfacing.
HIL Test Rig Design
Designed and delivered a full end-to-end HIL test rig for control system validation — powertrain testing, flight control software verification, and system reliability development.
